N°Q22 Sculpture horse head from elm

"Schach Matt" ... or something similar comes to mind when you take a closer look at this sculpture made of elm wood. It looks very similar to the chess-horse.

An unusual wooden figure made of unusual wood. One side as nature grows, the other side shows, polished smooth what is hidden under the growth and brings out a beautiful grain.

This sculpture deserves the place of a winner, and not only in the chess club.
